Avenged Sevenfold Slated To Play Musikfest 2013 This August!

A7XatMusikfest2013(PCM) Chart-topping heavy metal group Avenged Sevenfold will bring Musikfest 2013 to a thunderous close when it rocks the festival’s Sands Steel Stage Aug. 11 at 7 p.m. Tickets for the show are $49 and $59 and will go on sale May 1, 10 a.m., to ArtsQuest Members and May 3, 10 a.m., to the public. Rockstar Energy Uproar Festival Concert Review!

PCM recently had the opportunity to attend the massive rock show known as the Rockstar Energy Uproar Festival in Camden, NJ. This year’s tour featured bands such as Avenged Sevenfold, Three Days Grace, Seether, Bullet For My Valentine, and Escape The Fate on the maln stage, and the talents of Sevendust, Black Tide, Art Of Dying, and Hell or Highwater on the second stage. It was a day of face-melting hard rock with some of the biggest and baddest bands out there today!

Avenged Sevenfold Premiere Video For Current Single "So Far Away" Worldwide on MTV 5/10!

Avenged Sevenfold will premiere the video for their current single “So Far Away” on Tuesday, May 10th on MTV, MTV2, MTVu, and MTV.com. Fans in the UK can see the video on MTV Rocks and at  www.mtv.co.uk/avenged. The video is a raw and emotional tribute to the band’s late drummer Jimmy “The Rev” Sullivan and celebrates the long-time friendship the band members have shared since forming Avenged Sevenfold in Huntington Beach, CA, in 1999. The video was directed by Wayne Isham, who has directed videos for such artists as Metallica, Mötley Crüe, Megadeth, and Def Leppard, among many others.

Hollywood Undead To Headline Revolt Tour 2011

After a massively successful tour with Avenged Sevenfold, A&M/Octone recording group Hollywood Undead will return to the road to headline the Revolt Tour.
Kicking off in Boston on April 6th the tour will feature special guests 10 Years, Drive A and New Medicine.

On April 5th, the band returns with their second album: American Tragedy.
The album is the follow up to their controversial but massively successful gold debut, Swan Songs, which spent 53 consecutive weeks on the Billboard Top 200 Album chart. Hollywood Undead’s first single from the album, “Hear Me Now” is already Top 30 on the modern rock charts.

Avenged Sevenfold Is #1!

“Welcome to the Family,” the new single from Avenged Sevenfold’s gold album Nightmare, has climbed to No. 1 at BDS Active Rock format in the U.S. this week. This is the band’s second No. 1 at the format from Nightmare.

The Los Angeles Times has praised Nightmare’s “elegiac power ballads,” and called it “the band’s most personal effort yet.” USA Today declared, “A7X has as broad a musical palette as any act in metal, with soaring guitar melodies and sorrowful ballads that offset growling metalcore vocals and Metallica-like jackhammerrhythms.”
