Maroon 5 "Songs About Jane" 10th Anniversary Edition Out Today!

It’s been a decade since Maroon 5 burst onto the music scene with Songs About Jane, their debut album which came out in June 2002. It has gone on to sell close to five million copies in the U.S. alone, producing three hit singles in “Harder to Breathe,” “This Love” and “She Will be Loved,” earning the group a Grammy® Award for Best New Artist.

To mark the occasion, a deluxe Songs About Jane 10th Anniversary Edition will debut today as a two-CD set that includes the demos of the 12 original songs, including previously unreleased songs like “Take What You Want,” “Woman” and “Chilly Winter,” as well as “Rag Doll” (a non-album B-side available only internationally) and an alternative mix of “The Sun.” The second disc provides access to a pair of videos on maroon5...

DRAKE WILL LIGHT UP OVO FEST 2012

Multi-Platinum selling, Grammy® nominated recording artist Drake, announced today that the 3rd annual OVO FEST is geared up to take place on August 5th at Molson Canadian Amphitheatre. The hip-hop summer festival will also feature special guests The Weeknd, A$AP Rocky and 2 Chainz. The annual event will see Drake bring Hip Hop’s most buzzed about artists to his home town following his sold out 27-city Club Paradise Tour.

“Bringing together the 3rd Annual OVO Fest is such a milestone for me,” said Drake. “A lot has happened over the last three years-a journey that I’m so grateful for-but it’s always coming home and performing for my hometown that means the most. The All-American Rejects Concert Recap!

Whether you came as a diehard fan or looking for a taste of nostalgia, when The All American Rejects played Rams Head Live! in Baltimore, MD on April 29, everyone got an unforgettable show.

A Rocket to the Moon opened the show, setting just the right mood for the evening. They certainly brought in a few fans of their own and made some news one, too, as they played a mix of both slower and more upbeat songs. They even threw in an admirable cover of Tom Petty’s “Free Fallin’” which showed off their good taste in music as well as their skilled harmonies. The 40 minute set flew by as fans sang along to every word and others sang along, without even knowing the lyrics! The Range Is Ours – Escape The Fate at Rock On The Range 2012

Escape The Fate had just gotten off stage when I sat down with them at Rock On The Range 2012. Lead singer Craig Mabbitt and bassist TJ Bell said they were honored to play Rock On The Range This year. “The crowd was so amazing,” Mabbitt said. The band has played the festival before, but this year they were invited to play the Monster Main Stage.

The band is currently touring on their 2010 self-titled album, Escape The Fate, but have new music on the way. The new album is due out in September. “Our last two records were very different from each other, and we wanted to mix all the elements together on one record this time,” Mabbitt stated.
