Rob Zombie/Megadeth May 2012 Tour News!

The wait is over, Zombie lovers! Rob Zombie has announced that he and his band of maniacs – John 5, Piggy D and Ginger Fish – will enter the studio on June 1 to begin recording the next chapter in the Zombie musical legacy. This new, as yet untitled CD is set for a late 2012 release.

“It has been way, and I mean way too long without any new music. I am dying to get back to it,” said Zombie. “I have not felt this much excitement within the band since recording the first Hellbilly Deluxe record almost 15 years ago. We have been working on tons of songs for quite some time and I can safely say this will definitely be our best record yet.”
Before Lord Zombie and his band begin recording, they will hit the highway on a co-headline tour with metal legends Megadeth, marking the first time the two bands have toured together since the early 90s.
“This tour should be a blast,” said Zombie. “I haven’t shared a bill with Megadeth since way back in the early days of White Zombie, so this trek is long overdue.”
Two new dates have been added to the U.S. trek – May 13 at the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, MD, and May 19 at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre in St. Louis, MO. The tour, which kicks off Friday, May 11 in Holmdel, NJ, will encompass high-profile appearances at several rock festivals, including Rock On The Range (May 20) that Zombie will co-headline with Incubus, and Rocklahoma (May 26) that Zombie will headline. Zombie will bring his full, explosive stage show out in full force on these dates, and audiences will get what they expect – a true rock and roll spectacle at its finest. Zombie will close all shows on the Megadeth dates.
For these Zombie/Megadeth dates, Rob Zombie has teamed up with The One and Only t...

LMFAO Recieves Nominations In 17 Categories For The Billboard Music Awards! Tour News!

Last week was a busy one for Party Rock/will.i.am/Cherrytree/Interscope recording artists LMFAO who performed their official apology anthem “Sorry For Party Rocking” on American Idol Thursday night in a high octane performance that included a shuffling zebra on stage. That same day the nominations for the 2012 Billboard Music Awards were released and LMFAO was a finalist in 17 categories (second only to Adele who was a finalist in 18 categories) including Top Hot 100 Artist, Top Duo/Group and Top Pop Artist. LMFAO will bring the party to Las Vegas when they perform on the 2012 Billboard Music Awards broadcast live from the MGM Grand Arena on May 20th.

If watching them on television doesn’t get you shuffling you can catch LMFAO and their party rock anthems on the road starting May 22nd in Columbus, OH when they kick off the Redfoo and Cherrytree Present: Sorry for Party Rocking Tour Featuring LMFAO and the Party Rock Crew and Special Guests Far East Movement, The Quest Crew, Sidney Samson, Eva Simons, Natalia Kills and Matthew Koma. The Live Nation promoted tour kicks off May 22nd in Columbus, OH at Nationwide Arena. Tickets are still available at Ticketmaster.com and Livenation.com. A complete itinerary follows this release.

The Sorry for Party Rocking Tour will mark the return to the concert stage of Sky Blu who was sidelined for the past five months when he suffered a severe back injury. The injury forced Sky to miss the remaining Canadian Cherrytree Pop Tour dates, a European run and most recently dates in Asia, but Redfoo and the Party Rock Crew kept the party popping and entertained audiences totaling over 300,000 fans around the globe. Sky continues to diligently work to put his body back together so he could be well enough to perform 90 minute shows each night when he tours North America this summer. Sky Blu is back May 22nd! “I am looking forward to getting out on the road and wiggling for all the LMFAO fans. It’s been a long road but I’m coming back. I really missed my fans,” says Sky Blu. Adds Redfoo, “It’s gonna be amazing to have Sky Blu back in full effect. You can bet we will be taking lots of Shots, Shots, Shots, Shots, Shots, Shots!… to celebrate his return, Yeeeaah baby!”
