Graffiti6 is the collaboration between singer-songwriter Jamie Scott and songwriter producer TommyD and their debut album “Colours” is a stellar combination of pop hooks, soulful melodies, with an overlaying trace of psychedelic elements tossed in for good measure. It is no wonder that the name Graffiti6 and the album “Colours” has been popping up all over the musical landscape these days, I can certainly agree that Graffiti6 is going to make a huge splash in 2012.
The album opens up with “Stone In My Heart” a soulful and groovy track that sets the pace nicely for the rest of the album which takes the listener on quite the emotional ride. From funky up-tempo tracks like “Stare Into The Sun” and “Never Look Back” to the more laid-back ballads such as “Free”, which happens to be the first U.S. single, and “Colours” the album features something for even the most finicky musical palate.
Two tracks really stood out to me and they are “Goodbye, Geoffrey Drake” a folk-infused track which totally appealed to my dark side and the album closer “Over You” because I feel it truly showcased the beauty of Scott’s vocals without any effects.
Graffiti6 are currently out on the road with Augustana into February to support “Colours”!

Stellar combination – spectrum of greatness – this album is the perfect mix of pop/indie/folk and so many other elements. Perfect for a rainy day, a broken heart, and the most happiest of days. There’s something for everyone which I like, and I hope this band goes far! What a voice!
I love them. They’re great. Check out their album, it’s really worth the try! I discovered them last summer, and I’m still listening to the album every day. They’re also lovely people! You gotta love them! x BiGLuV a Sixer.
