Nearly a week after their single “Make Me Wanna Die” opened up last Tuesday’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, The Pretty Reckless is still holding strong in the top 10 on the iTunes Rock charts, after climbing to the #3 spot last week. Their album Light Me Up has been a mainstay on the iTunes Rock section since its official release in February, and reached #11 last week.
Taylor Momsen and her band recently finished a 3 show stint opening up for Guns N’ Roses, and just returned from a North American and European tour with Evanescence. The band will head to Australia in early 2011 for a string of dates with the Soundwave Revolution Festival.
We recently had a chance to check out The Pretty Reckless live when they opened for Guns N’ Roses in Camden, NJ, and I can say we were thrilled to get to the show early to catch their set. Taylor Momsen is like a force to be reckoned with on stage, and they did an amazing job of energizing the crowd. The Pretty Reckless are doing a fantastic job of claiming their space on the musical landscape and I know this band is one we will continue to hear about well into the future!
