Surprise Performance From Green Day At The Rip Curl Pro Search Kick-Off Party!

Green Day showed up and played an impromptu performance at the kick-off party for The Rip Curl Pro Search sharing the stage with Ty Segall and Kut U Up. The kick-off party was also a fundraiser for the Surfrider Foundation, an organization supported by all of the surfers competing in the Rip Curl Pro Search.

The concert + Kick-off party aimed to raise some much needed funding and awareness for the SAVE SLOAT campaign, which is a plaguing concern for the local San Francisco surfing community.

Whimsical New Video From Mates Of State!

Influential Connecticut-based modern pop duo Mates of State have a new music video for their incessantly catchy song “Sway”, from the recently released album Mountaintops. Pitchfork premiered the video today, and it’s available at the links below. The video, directed by XXXX, features a girl who falls down a rabbit hole to discover another world in perfect Lewis Carroll fashion. It showcases the band performing in a high school gym auditorium, outfitted with beautiful flowers, as if nature has exploded at the prom.

Disturbed To Release B-Sides And Rarities Album, Titled "The Lost Children"!

Disturbed, who are currently on an indefinite hiatus, are releasing “The Lost Children” November 8th. The album contains 16 b-sides and rarities, as well as unreleased material. First single “Hell,” which appeared as a bonus track on the UK tour edition of the 2005 album Ten Thousand Fists, is at radio now.
