Matthew Sweet revealed “She Walks the Night,” the debut single off his “ambitious” (Rolling Stone) new album Modern Art (September 27, Missing Piece Records) exclusively on RollingStone.com on Friday, August 12. Critic Matthew Perpetua notes that the song “sounds like a classic sunny Sweet power pop tune, but it’s actually a major departure for the veteran songwriter.”
