Atlantic Records will release Vice Verses, the eighth studio record from the multi-platinum rock band, on September 27th.
Weird Freedom, the second full-length from Brooklyn’s Little Gold, sounds like a celebration, and with good reason. It is the inaugural release for the bands own Loud Baby imprint, and its Little Gold’s first LP as a proper band. The Felix Culpa have announced plans to part ways. In a statement, the band says “ With every ounce of our four hearts, thank you.You have been the reason we were The Felix Culpa and each one of you were with us all along. For those of us in this band, it has been a life changing experience that profoundly shaped who we are as people, but seasons change and songs end.” The band will also play a goodbye show in Chicago and their new album, ‘Sever Your Roots/Burn The Axe” LP is out now.
Detroit’s melodic death metal outfit THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, who are currently headlining the Summer Slaughter Tour in support of their new albumRitual, will be back on the road this fall on a headline run that sees the band hitting cities not reached on their current tour.
AS I LAY DYING have once again been recognized by their hometown of San Diego. AS I LAY DYING has taken home the “best hard rock” award at the 2011 San Diego Music Awards. British rockers UFO have confirmed additional tour dates with Mindflow for the West Coast leg of their North American tour which kicks off this September in Santa Rosa, CA. The band will be touring in support of their greatest hits collection “Best of a Decade” which is out now on SPV/Steamhammer. UFO is also in the process of working on a new studio album which is scheduled for release in early 2012.
