- Australia’s finest, Washington has taken home the prestigious title of “Breakthrough Songwriter Of The Year” at the 2011 Australian Performing Right Association (APRA) Awards. Washington is currently making waves in American with her debut How To Tame Lions EP.
- Boston-based experimental rockers, The Venetia Fair, released their long awaited new EP, “The Pits” and will head out on Warped Tour on the following dates.

- Black Water Rising‘s self-titled debut album is now available in Europe on Metalville Records, and in North America on Giddy Up! Records.

- Kelli from Bravo’s hit reality show NYC Prep has a hot single, “Gave Up On Love” which has shown great success is currently at the #18 spot on Billboard’s Breakout Hot Dance Club Chart! The song’s video got 662,581 views in four days and is the #25 most watched video on YouTube worldwide!

- The Grownup Noise has announced their summer tour dates and released their new mp3 “The Artist Type” .

- Grammy-nominated recording artists Mutemath will release their brand new album Odd Soul on Teleprompter/Warner Bros Records on October 4th. New Orleans’ rock innovators will introduce songs from Odd Soul to fans at the Troubadour in Los Angeles on August 16th and at the Mercury Lounge in New York City on August 25th.
- Minnesota-based songwriter Jeremy Messersmith & his band are pleased to announced another string of summer tour dates, and release the video from The Graveyard Tour!

- The Horrible Crowes, the new project of Gaslight Anthem frontman Brian Fallon, have confirmed the September 6 release of their debut album Elsie on SideOneDummy Records. Check out their song “Black Betty & the Moon” .
