- The members of Miami’s Jacobs Ladder met through their high school music program, so they’re launching a Pledge Music campaign to help raise funds and awareness for MusicUunites, an organization which benefits inner city music programs nationwide. Those who pledge will get an mp3 download featuring exclusive tracks that do not appear on the band’s recently released “Back To Life†EP!

- Kentucky based group My Morning Jacket‘s new album Critical debuted at #5 on the Billboard charts and followed by their performance at Bonnaroo the week of 6/8. Check out their upcoming tour dates!
- Polar Bear Club is excited to announce a special hometown acoustic performance on July 2nd at the Montage Music Hall in Rochester, NY where they will debut songs from their upcoming album, Clash Battle Guilt Pride. See the club’s upcoming tour dates!
- Cult band, Hope I Die Virgin announced their new album Is Forever No Way on August 2 on Fysisk Format. Stream three of their new songs and check out the new album’s tracklist!
- Erol Alkan has turned Metronomy’s epic track “The Bay” into a funky beachside rave spot with his new remix!
- Truck American Music and Art’s festival is happening the weekend of September 9-11 at the Full Moo Resort n Big Indian NY. The Hold Steady, Okkervil River, Ra Ra Riot and Wye Oak are just a few of the festival’s headliners with 30+ more bands and comedians to be announced in the upcoming weeks.
- Sleeping Giant is gearing up to release their new album Kingdom Days in an Evil Age and debuts their new video for “Dead Man Walking”. The band is set to hit the road on the following dates.
- Breanne Duren is premiering her video for “No One Else” ! Check out some of her upcoming tour dates with Owl City!

- Portland, Oregon-based indie-pop/electronic-folk outfit Priory invites you to check out two mp3s from their self-titled debut album and see their tour dates.
- Listen to Teddybears‘ “Get Fresh With You” that recently premiered on MTV and if you’re impressed, buy it on iTunes.
- Watch The Joy Formidable‘s new video for their song, “A Heavy Abacus” and look out for the release of their digital EP of select remixes and live tracks on July 12. Check out their tour dates and stay tuned; more are soon to be announced.
- Portland band Nurses are back with their new album, Dracula, out October 20. Listen to their first mp3 and album opener.
- Starting July 5, Radiohead will release a series of limited edition 12″ vinyl records, featuring remixes of tracks from their current album The King of Limbs, this summer.
- The raw and ragged New York band, O’Death has released their new album Outside on Ernest Jenning Record Co. They’ve also announced their late summer/early fall US tour dates!

- French art-rockers DEMIANS have just started working on their much anticipated third album. The band also have plans for shooting a DVD this Fall, both will be available on InsideOut Music in the Spring of 2012.
