RCA Records is excited to announce that the video for the new Kings of Leon single, “Back Down South,” will be premiering on Vevo on May 31. The clip was shot in May an hour south of Nashville, TN, and perfectly captures the spirit of the song as an homage to the south. It was directed by Casey McGrath (Talihina Sky, Pyro) and features the band performing live outdoors in a rural setting in front of a group of lucky members of the KOL fan club as well as kids from the local community. The live footage is interspersed with vignettes depicting teenagers in the American south who all converge at an outdoor party the band is hosting. Like the song, the mood of the video is celebratory, reflective and nostalgic.
