Check out their brand new single “Last Man Standing†from their forthcoming album War Of Angels in stores Feb 2011! They are an incredible band and we are definitely looking forward to checking out more new music from Pop Evil soon!
Sound familiar? “Last Man Standing is also the official song of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and is prominently featured in the NASCAR commercials.
They’re causing a ruckus throughout Hollywood and have only been together since August.
Composed of five 20 something year old rockers is Jessi Jae Joplin and The Ruckus. The quintet formed together to create an incredible electro-rock-pop sound influenced by bands like No Doubt, The Black Eyed Peas, and The Ting Tings. Along with being lead singer, Jessi writes all original music for the band. Backing her up on stage are guitarist Will Wu, bassist Christopher Lorentz, cellist Bryan West, and drummer Neal Daniels.
With backgrounds in opening for the likes of Earth Wind and Fire, Evelyn King and Chicago, as well as extensive touring, producing and engineering music, even modeling and acting, The Ruckus have what it takes to make it in the industry. They’ve all done the concert halls, nightclubs, jazz cafes and even some of LA’s historic venues like The Roxy and The Key Club, but they are ready to break out and make their name known. Along with Jessi’s amazing stage presence, wild and crazy personality (and style to match) and experienced band, Jessi Jae Joplin and the Ruckus are ready to take over the music scene and make a ruckus in a town near you.
