Vocal temptress, seductive songstress and bona fide chart queen ERIKA JAYNE is aiming to heat up this winter season with the launch of her own label, Pretty Mess Records.  Currently working on new music for her second album (title TBA), the glamorous JAYNE will give a taste of what’s to come Tuesday, November 16 with the release of her new single “One Hot Pleasure.”

Velvet Revolver has just leaked their performance of “Slither” from their upcoming DVD, Live In Houston, which hits stores on November 16th. Filmed in 2005, the concert captures the band touring in support of their award winning debut album, Contraband. The full length tracks are intercut with brief interviews with the band members talking about how Velvet Revolver came to be. The setlist focuses on Contraband, but also includes cover versions of tracks by Guns ‘n’ Roses and Stone Temple Pilots highlighting the history of the group members. Live in Houston features the original Velvet Revolver line-up of vocalist Scott Weiland, lead guitarist Slash, bassist/vocalist Duff McKagan, drummer Matt Sorum, and rhythm guitarist Dave Kushner.

The Composure, based out of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, truly is a band that stands alone. They have heart, talent, and most of all, they’re as real as it gets. Nergal Checks in from the Hospital: Bone Marrow Donor Found!
Behemoth frontman, Nergal, reports in from the hospital to give us an update on his Leukemia treatments thus far.

Before the Doobie Brothers kick off their North American tour in support of new album World Gone Crazy, Pat, Tom, and John stopped by the Good Day LA studio to perform their 1975 hit “Black Water.”  The music legends also shared information on the special award they were given the night before at the City of Hope charity event and talked with the morning show anchors about the state of today’s music industry.

Step into the recording studio with up-and-coming singer-songwriter Alyssa Bernal and Lifehouse’s Jason Wade, as they discuss how their duet “Hold Me Tight” came to life.  “I just loved her voice,” says band frontman Jason.  “We sang both of the choruses out there together in the same mic-room, kind of an old-school way of recording.”
