Originally released back in May, Train have announced details of a deluxe version of their critically-acclaimed fifth album Save Me, San Francisco, set for release on 1st November. Titled Save Me, San Francisco – Golden Gate Edition, this new version of the album includes brand new tracks, live versions and alternate versions of some of the band’s best loved songs.
Save Me, San Francisco is the multi-platinum-selling band’s fifth studio album and marks the restoration of Train’s original line-up, including vocalist Pat Monahan, guitarist Jimmy Stafford and drummer Scott Underwood, since 2003’s platinum offering, My Private Nation.
The first single from the album, “Hey, Soul Sister,†has now sold an incredible six million copies worldwide. The band’s recent UK tour culminated in a sold-out show at London’s Shepherds Bush Empire which was filmed by MTV as part of their World Stage series.
Train will release ‘Shake Up Christmas’ as a single on Monday 6th December. The track also features in the new Coca Cola Christmas advert which will hit TV screens at the beginning of December and which will be shown in over 90 countries worldwide.
