ICP brought the madness of their Happy Daze tour to the Electric Factory in Philadelphia, PA on May 19th, 2010! Out on the road with the dynamic “wicked clown” duo were the Kottonmouth Kings, Coolio, Kittie, and Necro. I had my doubts about the success of this tour with such a line-up of acts across the board, but somehow it all came together and the show was fantastic time!
ICP brought the Faygo flavored house down as usual blasting through old hits such as “Chicken Huntin” and the “Nettin Game” and new songs such as “Miracles” and the set closer “Bang Pow Boom”! Kottonmouth Kings put on a stellar set, Coolio held his own, but appears to be about two steps away from the retirement home, Kittie rocked the house, and Necro, well he leaves much room to impress!
It is impossible not to have fun at an ICP show, being drenched from head to toe in Faygo, interacting with the loyal Juggalo family, and feeding off the raw adrenaline in the room makes for quite the interesting evening and not one to be missed!
PCM’s Kristyn had a chance to chat with Kittie drummer Mercedes Lander about their time on the Happy Daze tour, their current album “In The Black” and more!
