Saving Abel are having a busy year. Take a look at their Facebook to see a list of dates for upcoming in-store performances and signings, as well as photos from a recent appearance at a Tulsa, OK radio station, Z104.5 The Edge. They’ve also just recently released the video for their single, “Stupid Girl (Only in Hollywood),†which can be seen on their YouTube alongside a video showcasing their amazing time spent with America’s finest soldiers overseas.
Not only have they been busy rocking out overseas with US troops, but the guys did an exclusive performance for Walmart’s Soundcheck which can be seen right here! The songs featured there can be heard on their brand new album, Miss America, coming to stores and iTunes on June 8th! You can pre-order the album on iTunes now as well as purchase the single before the album comes out.

“Miss America” Album Review:
Saving Abel hasn’t ventured too far from the formula that worked for their first release, and the “Miss America” album will not disappoint fans as it still holds true to the band’s sound ! The current single “Stupid Girl (Only in Hollywood)” is continuing to gain steam and it is my hope to see the track “Sex is Good” follow suit, as it is delightfully catchy, much in the same vein as “Addicted” from the first release. They slow things down a bit with the gorgeous ballad “Angel Without Wings”, however I would definitely say that the “Miss America” album rocks a lot harder than Saving Abel’s previous release and they promise to be a band that will continue to mature well into the future! Saving Abel are skilled at releasing solid rock music and the “Miss America” album definitely rocks hard!
