Las Vegas police are now on the hunt for Kid Rock due to an altercation that took place between Rock and Motley Crew drummer Tommy Lee at last nights MTV Video Music Awards. Details about what started the fight are still sketchy at this time according to TMZ.com, but it would be safe to assume that it has something to do with both men being former husbands to Pamela Anderson. Inviting all three to the same event was a catastrophe waiting to happen. Apparently Lee was the instigator of the brawl and he became agitated when Rock was ignoring him. How did she do? I know I am personally having a lot of mixed opinions on this one, but I will agree that she seems a bit under rehearsed and slightly bored. Some sources say that there were problems with the content of the original planned performance, in which Britney collaborated with magician Criss Angel. The source says MTV thought the performance was just too risque and Brit had to tone things down if she wanted to go through with the performance. It is also said the she may have gotten wind of speech that was to be given by comedian Sarah Silverman after her performance and was quite angry.
The almost infamous Video WAS available everywhre, but MTV took it down, It’s even unavailable on MTV’s site.

Ah, what can I say about MTV’s VMA’s. While Britney Spears performance was less than the awe inspiring fete it was supposed to be, I give the girl credit for getting up there and attempting to make it work, especially with all the tabloid hoopla that surrounds her these days. Definitely the more stand out performance of the evening, at least in my opinion would have had to have been Chris Brown or Linkin Park. Britney could take some lessons from Mr. Brown about how to really bring down the house. Most of the broadcast took place from different suites within the Palms Casino and Hotel in Las Vegas, I believe they were attempting to make it look like a bunch of different parties all going on at the same time, but in actuality it was a jumbled mess...
