Dropkick Murphys will be joined by special guests State Radio at their March 17 St. Patrick’s Day matinee show at Tsongas Arena in Lowell, MA, marking State Radio’s only confirmed 2012 East Coast date thus far. The 1pm St. Patrick’s Day show will also feature an acoustic performance by Frank Turner (solo), as well as Australian openers Ramshackle Army. The 7pm St. Patrick’s Day show at Tsongas Arena will include Frank Turner and the Sleeping Souls supporting Dropkick Murphys.

Slaughterhouse announced today the details of the group’s new tour as well as confirmed that the title of their forthcoming Shady Records/Interscope album debut will be welcome to: OUR HOUSE. Executive produced by Eminem, welcome to: OUR HOUSE, to be released May 15, 2012, will be the second album from the creative collaboration of Crooked I, Joe Budden, Joell Ortiz and Royce da 5’9”. New music will be made available next week for fans to get their first taste of what promises to be one of the most anticipated and explosive albums of the year.
The group will also conduct a live video chat, moderated by Elliot Wilson from Rap Radar (http://www.rapradar.com), on Thursday, January 26th at 6:00pm PST (9:00pm EST) on www.slaughterhouseweb.com where fans will be able to submit questions in real time.

This year sees 30 years since Paul McCartney and Stevie Wonder first worked together on the classic smash hit Ebony and Ivory (March 1982), which was number 1 in the UK and the US. The release of Paul’s new album Kisses On The Bottom sees them reunited on the track, Only Our Hearts. Only Our Hearts is one of two original McCartney compositions included on the album, which is a collection of standards Paul grew up listening to in his childhood.
On working with Stevie Paul said, “Stevie came along to the studio in LA and he listened to the track for about ten minutes and he totally got it. He just went to the mic and within 20 minutes had nailed this dynamite solo. When you listen you just think, ‘How do you come up with that?’ But it’s just because he is a genius, that’s why’.
Stevie joined Paul at LA’s legendary Capitol Studio’s to record the track.
Kisses On The Bottom is a collection of standards Paul grew up listening to in his childhood as well as the two new McCartney compositions My Valentine and Only Our Hearts. Jesse Thomas is a fiery singer-songwriter from Kentucky, whose whiskey soaked soul drips into every song that she sings. She will release her first full-length album, War Dancer, on Valentine’s Day. Single “Fire” premiered HERE on L.A. Unheard, music blog of the Los Angeles Times.

Theory of a Deadman announced today plans for their 2012 headline tour which kicks off on April 9 in Tallahassee, FL. Fans will be the first to purchase tickets on February 1; while the general public will be able to buy tickets for most of the dates beginning on February 3. Theory of a Deadman released their fourth studio album The Truth Is… on July 12, 2011 through Roadrunner Records when it immediately exploded into the charts taking the #8 spot on the Billboard Top 200 andthe #2 spot on the iTunes Rock Album charts. “Bad Girls”, the newest track from firecracker fem-cee and musical innovator M.I.A., is set to debut on Monday, January 30th at 2:30 p.m. EST via Pitchfork. The track was recorded in Miami and produced by Danja(Timbaland, Diddy, Madonna, Nelly Furtado, Pink). It will be available officially on Tuesday, January 31st.
