Light Me Up, the debut album from Taylor Momsen and her band, is due out later this year in the US on Interscope Records.
Fronted by 19-year-old singer-songwriter and guitarist Christofer Drew, Never Shout Never released its new album Harmony last week and earned its highest chart positions yet with a No. 4 debut on the Digital Albums chart and a No. 14 bow on Billboard’s Top 200 Albums chart. The band will hit the road for a fall headlining tour with The Maine beginning October 19th in Seattle and criss-crossing the U.S. before winding up on November 27th in Chicago.
Spacehog, the English rock band comprised of brothers Royston Langdon (Vocals and Bass Guitar) and Anthony Langdon (Guitar and Vocals), Jonny Cragg, (Drums) and Richard Steel (Lead Guitar) will be reuniting to play a select number of tour dates which can be seen below. The band, heavily influenced by David Bowie, Queen, and T.Rex, is known for their legendary concerts in the East Village and creating their own genre of sound by colliding their influences with a wall of distorted guitars daring vocals.
The band’s debut album, Resident Alien, went gold on the Billboard charts, selling a million copies and spawned the hit single and video “In the Meantime” as well as the single “Cruel To Be Kind”.
It’s been 9 years since Spacehog have come together. The group has begun working on their yet to be titled fourth album with Bryce Goggin (Ramones, Phish). The evolved sound can only be described as epic and revolutionary for the band.
Fans can now listen to their first record track since 2001 entitled “Sunset Blvd.” For the latest news visit www.Spacehog.com!
